Product Description
- Maize starch is mainly as the raw material to produce the starch derivatives and some fermentation products, such as glucose, maltose, fructose, dextrose monohydrate, sorbitol, lysine, MSG, and other amino acids, which are widely used in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, animal feed, etc.
- Maize starch is commonly used as a coagulant for pudding and other foods.
- Paper making: Maize starch and its derivatives are very important chemical additives in the paper industry. The price is cheaper and more affordable than cassava starch, so the proportion of maize starch used in the paper industry is increasing.
- Food thicken: In our daily cooking food, the maize starch is often used to "thicken", make soup more thick. Generally, use maize starch and water to stir evenly. Very convenient.
Corn milling:
The steeped corn is sent to the wet corn storage hopper by pump through the stone removal, dewatering sieve, and then into the 1st degerm mill. The corn is broken into 4-6 pieces. The whole corn is not more than 1% and 75%-85% of the germ is separated, and also 20%-25% of the starch is released at the same time. The milled corn is pumped to the 1st germ cyclone. The top flow of the cyclone is the separated germ to the germ washing system. The bottom flow material is filtered through the gravity screen to get the corn slurry, and the material over the sieve goes into 2nd degerm mill. The corn is broken into 10-12 petals. The broken corn slurry should not contain the whole grain of corn and the combined germ with less than 0.3%. The broken corn slurry goes through the pump to the 2nd germ cyclone. The top flow material is return to the 1st degerm mill and mixed with the separated material by the gravity screen, and then returned to the 1st germ cyclone. The bottom flow corn slurry is sent to the fine grinding process.
